Why our world needs more Joy Keepers

Our world is in transition. An era is coming to an end, another one beginning. Whatever challenges we may be experiencing these days, collectively and individually, are all part of that giant transition. It’s not just about you and me, it’s bigger than any of us.

We face a planet-wide destruction that seems to be reaching a point of no return. And yet return we must. Return to a sustainable and aligned way of living. The good news is that we do have the potential to return and renew. We already have the science, technology and the financial resources to turn things around.

What we don’t have yet is enough people who understand what is going on and are actively taking steps to return to a global balance. We absolutely need to do something about this. But how? How can you and I best help more people open to that kind of awareness?

There are many ways to do that, and becoming a Joy Keeper is one of them.

You see, throughout the global transition, there is, for some of us, a special role to play. That role is to be an awakening Joy Keeper. Which means, in the midst of any kind of turmoil, to be a shining light that (unobtrusively) supports those around us in connecting with our natural sense of peace, wisdom, creativity, love and joy.

We need as many people as possible to be in touch with that loving, joyful state. In other words, we as individuals need to grow our own ability to be it, even in the midst of confusion, conflict, despair and whatever else we see in the world, in our countries, in our communities, in our circles of friends, in our families, and most importantly, in ourselves. Because, as the old saying goes, we must be the change we want to see in the world. Our world changes as we do.

The purpose of the Joy Keepers Network is to become a place where we can support each other in finding, growing and expressing the energy of Joy. And then bring the learning and the energy to the world.
